Consider this period as a unique opportunity, in addition to all the other difficulties we are going through, to improve our eating habits, as there will be time to prepare homemade and healthy meals, as well as to gather the family around the daily table.
There is a famous national diet guide for adults, based on the traditional Greek diet, which is a version of the traditional Mediterranean diet that talks about a lot of water, a variety of vegetables and fruits, cereals, especially whole grains, dairy products low in fat, limit the consumption of red meat and choose lean parts, seafood and fish, such as fatty fish and preferably the small ones that we prefer when eating fish, frequent consumption,
Olive oil as a first choice, restricts the consumption of sugar, salt and products that contain them and, of course ,reinforces our daily physical activity, in consultation with our doctor and maintains a normal and stable body weight.
