OLYMPIA AWARDS 2020

Although 2020 has proved to be a special year so far. The pandemic that has hit humanity has set new boundaries throughout society, so the olive oil industry couldn’t has  been unaffected.
On the other hand, the health crisis has given people time to learn more about the nutritional superiority of high-fat olive oil, and to look for it as a means of strengthening the body's defenses and protecting human health.
This year, 1,088 samples from Greece and 190 from seven other countries participated in the competition, with a total of 450 award-winning producers and companies.
Hellenic organic organic food won the silver award with a total of 744mg / Kg polyphenols, meaning that with a daily consumption of 20g we are able to receive 14.9mg of tyrosol and hydroxytyrosol derivatives, this makes it an oil balanced in sanitary and organoleptic ingredients.
